Email and SMS templates
Write reusable message bodies with personalization tokens you reuse across sends.
A template is a reusable message body — the actual words of an email or text — that you write once and reuse across campaigns and automations. Find them under Marketing → Templates.
Writing a template
Create a template, choose whether it's email or SMS, and write the body. To make each send feel personal, drop in personalization tokens — placeholders like the client's first name that Lumè fills in per recipient when the message goes out. You can preview a template against a sample client to see how it'll read once the tokens are filled.
The unsubscribe requirement for email
Every marketing email has to include an unsubscribe link — it's the law (CAN-SPAM), and Lumè enforces it: an email template won't save without the unsubscribe token in its body. The editor flags this for you while you write, so you can't accidentally send a non-compliant email.
Text messages don't need an unsubscribe link — clients opt out of SMS by replying STOP, which Lumè honors automatically.
Reusing templates
Once a template exists, point any number of campaigns and automations at it. Update the template in one place and every future send uses the new wording.
