Before-and-after photos

Upload, organize, and compare clinical photos on a client’s record.

Clinical photos live on the client's record, under the Photos tab. It's built for the before-and-after work that aesthetic treatments depend on — documenting a baseline, tracking progress, and showing a client their results side by side.

Adding photos

On the Photos tab, drag image files onto the upload area or click to choose them. As you add a photo, you can tag it so it's easy to find later:

  • Phase — Before, After, Progress, or Other.
  • Body area — where on the body the photo is of.
  • A note, if there's something worth recording.

Finding and comparing

The gallery shows your photos as thumbnails. Filter by phase or body area to narrow a long history down to what you need. Click any photo to open it full size.

To show a client their results, use compare mode to put two photos — a before and an after — next to each other.

Keeping photos tidy

Photos can be archived or deleted, and that's limited to owners and managers, so a clinical record isn't cleared out by accident.

Clinical photos are protected health information. Every time a full-resolution photo is opened, Lumè logs it — so there's a record of who looked at a client's images and when.
