Audiences
Build saved segments of clients — birthday this month, lapsed, VIP — to send to.
An audience is a saved segment of your clients — the people a particular message should go to. Because audiences are built on live data, they stay current on their own: a birthday this month audience is different people in March than in April, with nothing for you to update. Find them under Marketing → Audiences.
Creating an audience
Select Create one (or + New) and define who belongs in it — for example clients with a VIP tag, clients who haven't visited in 90 days, or whose birthday lands this month. Save it with a clear name so it's easy to pick later.
Each saved audience shows its member count so you know how many people a send will reach before you send anything.
How audiences are used
An audience on its own doesn't message anyone — it's the who. You point a campaign or an automation at an audience to actually send. The same audience can power as many campaigns as you like.
A note on who's reachable
The member count is everyone who matches your segment. The number who'll actually receive a send can be smaller, because marketing only goes to clients who've opted in for that channel. If an audience shows people but none are reachable, it usually means no one in it has opted into promotional email or SMS yet — you set that on each client's record.
