Automations

Where a campaign is a one-time send, an automation runs on its own in the background and fires whenever a client meets a trigger. Set one up once and it keeps working — birthday notes go out on birthdays, win-back offers reach clients who've drifted, without anyone remembering to send them. Find automations under Marketing → Automations.

The triggers

An automation fires on one of these events:

• Birthday — on or around a client's birthday.
• No visit in N days — when a client hasn't been in for the number of days you set (a win-back).
• First-visit anniversary — a year after a client's first appointment.

Building one

Create an automation, choose its trigger, point it at a template for the message, and turn it on. From then on, as clients become eligible, Lumè sends to them automatically — and it won't double-send to the same person for the same event.

You can switch an automation off at any time without deleting it, and the home page lists which automations are active and when each last fired.
